- User Accounts

3.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- User Conduct
4.1. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any prohibited activities while using the Services, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, or illegal activities.
4.2. Content Guidelines: You are solely responsible for the content you post on the platform, including profiles, job postings, messages, and feedback.
- Service Fees
5.1. Service Fees: RemoteJob Africa may charge service fees for the use of certain features or transactions conducted through the platform. Details of applicable fees will be provided to you before completing a transaction.
5.2. Payment Processing: Payments made through the platform are processed by third-party payment processors. By using the Services, you agree to abide by their terms and conditions.
- Dispute Resolution
6.1. Disputes between Users: RemoteJob Africa is not responsible for disputes between Freelancers and Clients. However, we may provide dispute resolution assistance at our discretion.
6.2. Arbitration: Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by a neutral arbitrator.
- Termination
7.1. Termination by RemoteJob Africa: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason.
7.2. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all rights and obligations under these Terms will cease, except for those provisions that by their nature should survive termination.
- Intellectual Property
8.1. Ownership: RemoteJob Africa retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including all intellectual property rights.
8.2. User Content: By posting content on the platform, you grant RemoteJob Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the content.
- Limitation of Liability
9.1. Disclaimer of Warranties: The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9.2. Limitation of Liability: RemoteJob Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1. Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.
10.2. Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.
- Miscellaneous
11.1. Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RemoteJob Africa regarding the Services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
11.2. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11.3. Waiver: The failure of RemoteJob Africa to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision or any other provision.
